Accessibility statement

We want every dental student to be able to use this tool, including those using a screen reader, keyboard navigation or magnification.

Our target

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We have not yet completed a formal third-party audit, and we say so plainly rather than claiming conformance we have not tested.

What is in place

  • Semantic HTML with a single main heading per page and a correct heading order.
  • Every page is delivered as readable text from the server, so content is available without JavaScript.
  • Form fields have visible labels and hint text, not placeholder-only labels.
  • Interactive elements are real links and buttons, reachable and operable by keyboard.
  • A dark mode, and text that reflows without horizontal scrolling down to 320px wide.
  • Data tables use header cells, so screen readers can associate figures with their column.

Known gaps

  • The balance-over-time chart conveys its shape visually; the same figures are available in the year-by-year table beneath it, but the chart itself is not yet fully described.
  • Some color pairings in secondary text have not been verified against the 4.5:1 contrast ratio.
  • We have not yet published a VPAT. Licensed institutions receive one as part of onboarding.

Reporting a barrier

If something on this site is difficult or impossible for you to use, write to partner@xocaliber.io and describe the page and what happened. We aim to reply within five business days and to fix genuine barriers as a priority over new features.
